MouseTuner Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 25, 2026

MouseTuner does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. It contains no analytics, advertising or third-party SDKs.

  • Each mouse's settings (speed and scroll direction) are stored only on your Mac, keyed by the mouse's vendor ID, product ID and name.
  • Reversing the scroll direction requires the Device Control and Data Access permission (called Accessibility on macOS 26). MouseTuner only handles scroll-wheel events to flip the direction of the mice you choose. It never reads keyboard input and never records or sends any events.
  • MouseTuner does not connect to the internet.

Deleting MouseTuner removes all of its settings.
