# MouseTuner Support

Help and contact details for MouseTuner, the per-mouse speed and scroll direction app for macOS.

MouseTuner gives each mouse its own tracking speed, scrolling speed and scroll direction. Requires macOS 26 or later.

## Common questions

### My mouse isn't in the sidebar

Only external mice are listed; trackpads are not. A mouse appears a second or two after it connects.

### Reverse scrolling has no effect

Open System Settings › Privacy & Security › Device Control and Data Access (Accessibility on macOS 26) and allow MouseTuner.

### My settings get changed back

Tools such as SteerMouse, LinearMouse and Mac Mouse Fix change the same settings, so quit them first. Logitech Logi Options+ has its own scrolling settings, which add to these.

### My mouse goes back to normal after I quit

That's intended: quitting MouseTuner restores the system defaults. To keep your settings, turn on "Open at login" in General.

打开「系统设置 › 隐私与安全性 › 设备控制和数据访问」（macOS 26 叫「辅助功能」），允许 MouseTuner。

### 设置被改回去了

SteerMouse、LinearMouse、Mac Mouse Fix 等同类工具会修改同样的参数，请先退出它们。罗技 Logi Options+ 有自己的滚动设置，会和这里的设置叠加。

### 退出后鼠标变回原样

这是有意的：退出 MouseTuner 时会恢复系统默认值。要一直生效，请在「通用」里打开「登录时自动启动」。
